Wisdom
Oh wisdom ! where have you vanished
Our minds and emotions are so famished
Reasons have left us and fled yonder
Feelings for each other has a lot to ponder
Rich get richer and poor suffer in silence
Systems celebrate that social imbalance
One lives aloof in ivory towers of opulance
The other suffers in silence of comeuppence
Millions of children sleep on empty stomach
Live in squalor, and die forever out of luck
Is it their fault that they were born poor?
Or is it society's perpetuated misdemeanor?
The systems we create, are subverted by rich
Rules they bend and twist; weave and stitch
Greed drives the passion for more and more
Riches they amass, beyond needs they store
When shall wisdom dawn upon us to feel
Problem of humanity to adopt and heal
Realise that fate of all humans is the same
Rules of humanity will always be the game
