Golf is a game of skill that imitates life
Both are full of surprises, challenges and strife
It takes years to perfect a really good swing
The grip, the stance and the shot with a ring
The skills of life too take years to inculcate
Education and knowledge to wisely replicate
Oft shots go hay wire despite regular practice
Different hazards appear much without notice
We land sometimes in the sand and chip our way out
Puttings needs concentration to hole without doubt
Despite best efforts ball lands in pond or bush
Opportunity gets lost and we begin with a push
Brush with birds and snakes may just happen
Keep your eyes and ears always alert and open
We deal with all of them with patience and skill
A perfect shot on the fairway gives much thrill
Some golf courses have even seen crocodile
Wild animals too may come visiting for a while
Life too confronts such unexpected challenges
We go about with equanimity and fine balances
Golf is a gentleman's game with courtesy on display
Count your scores honestly, and believe in fair play
It's not played for money but for fun in the lap of nature
Often some hustlers do, bringing down game's stature
It needs concentration of a yogi, focus of a crane
Tenacity of a crow, silence of a medicant in the brain
Game of golf and life we play against ourselves
Against success and failures that mind delves
The purpose of life is to have a purpose that drives
Only when we rise above ourselves society thrives

जब शुरुआत हो गयी है तो इसे चालु रखा जाय .
सर कभी कभी तो ऐसा लगता है की इस जिंदगी का बड़ा हिस्सा तो यही सोचने में चला गया .
हलाँकि यह इनिंग अभी बाकी है . और अगले की तो मुकम्मल तयारी है .
